Privacy Policy

Overview

Penciled ("the App") is a loan calculator application developed and published by Equity Level Operations LLC ("ELO," "we," "our"). This policy describes how the App handles your information.

The short version: Penciled does not collect or store personal data. All calculations happen on your device. The only data that leaves your device is anonymized crash diagnostics via Sentry (see Third-Party Services below).

Information We Do Not Collect

Penciled does not collect:

Personal information (name, email, phone number, address)
Financial information (account numbers, credit scores, income)
Usage analytics or behavioral data
Device identifiers or advertising IDs
Location data
Cookies or tracking technologies

Data Storage

All data you enter into Penciled (loan amounts, rates, saved scenarios, portfolio entries) is stored locally on your device only. This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to any server.

If you delete the App, all locally stored data is permanently removed.

In-App Purchases

Penciled offers a one-time Pro upgrade through Apple's App Store or Google Play. Purchase transactions are handled entirely by Apple or Google. We do not receive or store your payment information. We use RevenueCat to manage purchase entitlements, which may process anonymized purchase receipts — see RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.

Third-Party Services

Penciled uses the following third-party services:

RevenueCat — Manages in-app purchase entitlements. Processes anonymized purchase receipts only. No personal data is shared. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.
Sentry — Crash reporting and error monitoring. Collects anonymized crash logs, device metadata (OS version, device model, app version), and diagnostic data. No personally identifiable information is transmitted. See Sentry's Privacy Policy.

Penciled does not integrate any advertising networks, analytics platforms, or social media SDKs.

Children's Privacy

Penciled does not knowingly collect information from children under 13 (or such higher age as required by applicable law). The App is a financial calculator tool intended for general audiences.

Your Data Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to: (a) request access to any data processed about you; (b) request deletion of such data; (c) opt out of data processing. Because Penciled does not collect personal data or maintain user accounts, there is generally no personal data for us to access, delete, or share.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Effective Date" above. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
